Morning Glory Juice
Enjoy this delicious juice any time of the day but I just love this first thing in the morning because it wakes me up and gets me started on a happier note--just looking at the uplifting magenta color!
Here what you need to create this beauty:
1. A juicer, duh. I use the cold-press centrifugal juicer from Breville BJE430 Model, which I purchased at Bed, BathBeyond with my 20% coupon! I have a few other juicers that were more expensive but only add more pulp, ugh.
2. Ingredients, preferably organic:
3 medium Beets with partial or all the stems/leaves
25 long Carrots (the contents of a large bag of organic carrots), scribbed with skin intact
2 Lemons with skin intact
2 large nubs of fresh Ginger, fairly well-peeled using the back of a spoon
Use the faster setting of your juicer for all of the ingredients except mid-way add the Ginger on low and slowly push the plunger down. Once this is juiced, the rest of the veggies will help gather the left over bits of the ginger into the juice for possibly more ginger juice. yay!
That's it. Transfer the juice into one large glass container or two one-quart glass containers. I like the Ball glass containers and have purchased the white plastic tops that fit a straw for on-the-go sipping.
Refrigerate for up to 48 hours. Shake the content to redistribute the juice flavors before serving.

Happy Juicing!
